Canoeing   Shhh...listen... as you paddle quietly through backwater channels, we invite you to come and explore the flora and fauna that thrive in this unique ecosystem. A shuttle service is available from our lodge and we have several canoes on site, along with all the gear necessary to make your outdoor adventure comfortable and safe. Don’t forget your camera - the various species of birds found along the river are beautiful. River animals such as the beaver, mink and muskrat will often be seen alongside river banks, and they are quick. Moose and deer are often seen in our area as well.   Nationally Certified Canadian Heritage Guides are also available to assist with interpreting the story of Metepenagiag "New Brunswick's Oldest Village."
